< strong>MOSCOW, November 27About 3 thousand adjacent areas are flooded in the Rostov region, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
“For the evacuation of the population in municipalities, 116 temporary accommodation points have been prepared. About 3,000 local areas were flooded, more than 500 people were evacuated, 120 of them children, and placed with relatives and in temporary temporary accommodation. Targeted assistance is being provided,” said the agency’s interlocutor.
He noted that the most unfavorable situation had developed in Rostov-on-Don, Azov, Taganrog, as well as in Azov, Myasnikovsky and Neklinovsky districts.
“Due to unfavorable weather conditions, the emergency response services of the Rostov region are operating in the “High Readiness” mode. Dispatch services and hotlines in municipalities receive requests from residents, which are promptly transferred to the executors and kept under control until completely eliminated,” added the representative of the department .
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, 581 people and 252 pieces of equipment, including 27 watercraft, were involved in eliminating the consequences of the bad weather.
