BARNAUL, November 29 A mother who beat her newborn daughter right in a crisis center in the Altai Territory was taken into custody, journalists were told in the SUSK for the region.
““Today, at the request of the investigator… in relation to a woman suspected of causing grievous harm to the health of her newborn daughter, the court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention,” noted the SUCC.
Earlier, the Investigative Committee and the prosecutor's office reported that a criminal case was opened against a 24-year-old resident of the Pospelikhinsky district for inflicting several blows on the head of her newborn daughter, whom she could not calm down. This happened in the regional crisis center for women, where a young mother turned for psychological help. The girl was seriously injured and was hospitalized.
