Not so long ago we imagined what a station wagon based on the Chery Arrizo 8 sedan might look like, but now we decided to depict a cargo-passenger version of another Chinese new product — Changan Lamore.
This year, many interesting new products from the Middle Kingdom have appeared on the Russian market, and among them are not only crossovers. At the very beginning of autumn, the Changan company announced the start of sales of the Lamore sedan, which can be considered a competitor to the aforementioned Chery Arrizo 8.

In terms of dimensions, the new product can be classified as class D: the length of the sedan is 4770 mm, width – 1840 mm, height – 1440 mm, wheelbase – 2765 mm. It is worth noting that Lamore is still more compact than the most popular models in this class until recently. For example, the length of the Camry is 4885 mm, the Kia K5 is 4905 mm. Like the above cars, the new Changan Lamore is presented only as a sedan, but the station wagon version would certainly be of interest to many buyers (primarily families), as well as taxi companies.

As in the home market, in Russia the Lamore is offered with a single engine — a 1.5-liter petrol turbo-four, which in our country produces 166 hp. and 300 Nm (in the version for the Chinese market, the power is 170 hp, while the torque there is lower — 260 Nm). The engine is equipped with a 7-speed robotic gearbox with two “wet” clutches, front-wheel drive only.

There is also only one package, it includes: 18-inch wheels , panoramic sunroof, light and rain sensors, eco-leather upholstery, standard DVR, climate control, wireless smartphone charging, face recognition system, all-round cameras, six airbags, ESP, adaptive cruise control, hold systems lane keeping and blind spot monitoring, traffic jam assist. Only the driver's seat is heated. Today, such a car is valued at 2,739,900 rubles, which is noticeably cheaper than the same Chery Arrizo 8, the minimum cost of which is 3,409,900 rubles.
