ST. PETERSBURG, December 1 Artist Alexandra Skochilenko, sentenced to 7 years for disseminating false information about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, appealed the verdict, the joint press service of the courts of St. Petersburg reported.
“The complaint against Skochilenko’s sentence was registered by the court on November 30,” the press service reported.
Skochilenko, who put up stickers with anti-war slogans, was sentenced in St. Petersburg to 7 years in a general regime colony. She was found guilty under paragraph «d» of Part 2 of Art. 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public dissemination, under the guise of reliable messages, of knowingly false information about the use of the RF Armed Forces).
