In women's hockey, forceful techniques to the opponent's body are prohibited. In November, a video appeared on social networks with Rodnova’s power moves in a match against the men’s junior national team of Belarus and a meeting of the regular championship of the Women’s Hockey League (WHL) against Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod.

“It’s unlikely that I could knock out the glass with force. We had a story: a pretty big girl went out to skate in Nizhny Novgorod, drove around and broke the glass.
