As journalists recalled , former adviser to the main directorate of armaments Yuri Zdravilo and ex-adviser to the department for state defense procurement Vitaly Likuchev were charged in 2020 with receiving a bribe in the amount of 7.4 million rubles from the head of NPP Rusbal CJSC, which produces inflatable models of military equipment.< br />“
“Lawyers for the accused repeatedly tried to achieve their release, but the gravity of the charges brought against the defendants outweighed all the arguments of the defense, including the reference to the violation of reasonable deadlines for the trial and the delay of the process,” the material says.
The accused insisted that they were victims of provocation, journalists noted.
