LANIT experts became winners of Visiology Awards

LANIT specialists spoke at the specialized conference ViRush 2023 and were recognized as the best in working with the new Visiology 3 platform, for which they received the Visiology Awards.

Conference ViRush is held annually and helps specialists working with the Visiology platform to keep abreast of all current trends, receive information about product development directly from development managers, as well as share implementation experience and discuss the stages of implementation of the Visiology roadmap.

One of the key topics of ViRush 2023 was the real experience of implementing Visiology 3 — a new version of the platform with support for DAX syntax, a graphical data model, new Self-Service capabilities and the highest performance. LANIT employees shared their experience of migrating the monitoring subsystem of the Unified Information System in the field of procurement from proprietary Western software to the domestic Visiology 3 platform. To date, this is one of the largest implementations of Visiology in the company’s practice.

Alexander Orlovsky, Deputy Director of LANIT's Corporate Systems Department, made a presentation on the topic “Experience of migration from proprietary Western BI to Visiology.” He spoke about the problems and solutions that arose during the transition, and answered questions from conference participants about the practical aspects of working with Visiology 3.

“Using Visiology software allowed us to solve many problems right out of the box. We started the project with the first releases of Visiology 3 and, thanks to close contact with the developers, we built implementation plans in accordance with the Visiology roadmap. This made it possible to get the desired results as quickly as possible and actually implement one of the first truly large-scale projects on Visiology 3. We are also grateful to Visiology for appreciating the professionalism of our team in the “Evangelist” nomination,” said Alexander Orlovsky.< /p>
