The State Duma proposed to review the school security system after the tragedy in Bryansk

MOSCOW, December 7 LDPR Chairman Leonid Slutsky, commenting on the tragedy in Bryansk on Telegram, called for school security to be made public.
The shooting occurred today at gymnasium No. 5 of Bryansk. According to preliminary information from the Investigative Committee, a 14-year-old girl brought a pump-action shotgun to the educational institution, from which she shot at her classmates. As a result, two died (one of them was the shooter), five victims were taken to a medical facility.
““We must stop the security of schools by private enterprises. We do not diminish their capabilities, but the security of schools should be state-owned,” Slutsky told reporters.
The first deputy head of the Duma Committee on Education, Yana Lantratova, also spoke about the emergency.

“This tragedy is yet another proof that the security system in educational institutions needs to be changed,” Lantratova wrote in her Telegram channel.
