In New Moscow after a shepherd dog attack A criminal case was opened against the baby. This was reported by the senior assistant to the head of the Investigative Directorate of the Russian Federation for the capital, Yulia Ivanova.
The case was initiated under articles of causing grievous bodily harm by negligence and failure to fulfill obligations to raise a minor (118 and 156 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
“A complex of urgent investigative actions are currently being carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident,” Ivanova said.
The attack occurred on Saturday near a private house. The child's mother went into the house for a short time, leaving the stroller with her three-month-old baby outside. At this time, the family's dog attacked the baby. The child has multiple injuries and is in serious condition in the hospital.
