NIZHNY NOVGOROD, December 13 One hundred thousand rubles in moral damages were recovered from a sports school in the Kirov region in favor of a girl on whom a hockey goal fell, reports regional prosecutor's office.
It was established that on September 18, an ice hockey goal at the stadium of the municipal sports school in the city of Orlov fell on the head of an 8-year-old girl. The child was diagnosed with facial injuries.
“”During the inspection, the prosecutor's office found inaction on the part of the employees of the municipal institution, who did not ensure the safety of children on the territory of the sports school. Acting in the interests of the child, the prosecutor filed a claim in court to recover compensation for moral damages from the sports school, caused to the girl. Compensation for moral damage inflicted in the amount of 100 thousand rubles was recovered in favor of the child,” the department said in a statement.
