MOSCOW, December 12 Muscovites will not be able to watch the Geminids meteor shower on the night of December 13-14, as cloudy weather is forecast in the region, said leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, Mikhail Leus.
As reported on the official website of the Moscow Planetarium, on the night of December 13-14, a powerful meteor shower is expected from the constellation Gemini – the giant Geminids meteor shower. 150 meteors per hour are forecast and will be visible above the southern horizon throughout the night.
““In short, we won’t see it in Moscow. The capital region, like most of the territory of European Russia, will be covered by dense clouds,” Leus said, answering the question of whether Muscovites will be able to observe the Geminids meteor shower.
