In addition, the flagship SUV’s exterior design was slightly tweaked, and a new multimedia system tablet was installed in the cabin.
< p>Three-row crossover Lynk & Co 09 in the range of the joint brand Geely and Volvo appeared in 2021 (the Swedish company, in turn, is owned by the Chinese). Let us remind you that the model is based on Volvo’s SPA (Scalable Product Architecture) platform, on which the “Swedes” of the sixtieth and ninetieth series, including the Volvo XC90, are also based. So now the brand has decided to refresh the “nine”, however, not all versions received new updates: the top-end rechargeable hybrid Lynk & Co 09 EM-P, “live” photos were published by Autohome. The PHEV hybrid is simpler (it has a different filling) and the “mild hybrid” version of the MHEV will apparently be updated later, unless, of course, Lynk & Co will not decide to abandon these performances at all.

Externally Lynk & Co 09 EM-P has changed little. So, the radiator grille has become different: in particular, the vertical stripes are now single rather than double, plus they are darker. In addition, inserts in the shape of the letter Y have appeared in the front bumper. The dimensions are the same: length – 5042 mm, width – 1977 mm, height – 1780 mm, wheelbase – 2984 mm.

In the cabin there is a larger tablet for the multimedia system, and it now rises above the front panel. There is no longer a separate climate control unit with washers: all settings are “sewn into” the new touchscreen. The central air deflectors were moved under the screen (previously they were on the sides of it). Lynk & The Co 09 EM-P also got an unusual feature — another display is built into the passenger sun visor (whether this is convenient is for the buyers to judge). Finally, the second row seats now have not only heating, but also ventilation and a massage function.

The all-wheel drive crossover installation still includes a 2.0 petrol turbo engine (254 hp), a motor-generator, a pair of electric motors and a battery with a capacity of 40.1 kWh. The total output has not yet been disclosed (the indicator of the pre-reform Lynk & Co 09 EM-P is 519 hp and 844 Nm), while the “heavenly” specialized media write that the cross has become faster: it will score its first “hundred” somewhere in 4 seconds, while the previous three-row SUV accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds.

A full presentation of the updated Lynk & Co 09 EM-P will be held on December 20, at the same time orders will be accepted in China. No prices yet. The pre-reform hybrid 09 EM-P costs from 339,800 yuan, which is equivalent to approximately 4,263,000 rubles at the current exchange rate.
In Russia, the Lynk & Co is not officially represented, although before the well-known events began, Geely planned to bring this brand to our market. However, Russian dealers have long established supplies of “parallel” Links.
