MOSCOW, December 13 “Shaman” singer Yaroslav Dronov sings about what his soul is talking about, said Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko, adding that she got goosebumps from his song «Let's Rise» when she first heard it.
The Federation Council hosted a concert by singer Shaman on Wednesday. The artist congratulated the senators on the 30th anniversary of the chamber. He performed the songs “My Russia”, “We”, “Let’s Rise” and “I am Russian”, as well as the Russian anthem.
«Yaroslav knows, we talked to him, our first “acquaintance”. I’m driving in the car to work, I turn on the Internet and hear the song “Let’s get up.” I sincerely tell you, I swear, I have goosebumps. I turned it on several times on the way,” Matvienko said after the concert. She added that the SVO had just begun at that time, “our feelings are understandable.”
“Please display it on the screen from the Internet. There was just a plenary meeting. They tell me it’s technically impossible. I say: “It’s possible!” Do it!» the parliamentarian emphasized, noting that all the senators stood up to this song. There was no such sold-out crowd as at this concert even at the most important meetings of the Federation Council, the senator also said.
«I’m only afraid of one thing — that you never get sick with star fever, because such fame, such respect, such honor has fallen on your young, not yet strong shoulders, cherish it,” Matvienko continued.
She also said that the singer Shaman is a “talent” and very artistic. “Everything is harmonious with you!” You sing what your soul sings about — and it shows. Your sincerity, your youth. I want you to always be successful,” the politician concluded.
