    The Sollers ST6 frame pickup truck with a gasoline engine has reached dealers in the Russian Federation

    The truck is produced at a plant in Vladivostok. The prices of the new product are already known: for the launch version they are asking at least 2.4 million rubles.

    The fact that the Russian company Sollers and the Chinese concern JAC decided to cooperate became known last year. The result was the launch at the plant in Elabuga (Tatarstan) of the production of Sollers Atlant and Argo commercial vehicles (models are badged JAC Sunray and JAC N25/N35). Later, in September of this year, it became known that the line of the Russian brand had expanded due to the “new product”, its role was played by the Sollers ST6 frame pickup.

    The production of Sollers ST6 was launched at a plant in Vladivostok: previously cars of the Japanese brand Mazda were produced here. Now the plant is called “Automotive Industrial Technologies”. Sales of a frame pickup truck with a diesel engine started in the Russian Federation in the first half of last month, and now it’s the turn of the Sollers ST6 with a gasoline engine.

    According to the price list on the official Sollers website, the recommended retail price for the starting version of the model with a gasoline engine is 2,400,000 rubles; purchasing the Comfort version will cost at least 2,500,000 rubles. Let us remind you that the price tag for the initial version of the Sollers ST6 with a diesel engine is 2,500,000 rubles, and for the top-end configuration they ask for at least 2,600,000 rubles. For residents of the Far Eastern Federal District, when purchasing a Sollers ST6 pickup truck, a discount of 150,000 rubles is provided.

    The new version, released on the market today, is equipped with a 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engine with a power of 176 hp, its maximum torque is 290 Nm; It is paired with a six-speed manual transmission. There is also an option in the lineup with a 2.0-liter diesel engine, its output is 136 hp. and 320 Nm. This engine also comes with a six-speed manual transmission.

    Let us remind you that the Sollers ST6 is a twin of the JAC T6 pickup truck, which, by the way, has been presented on the Russian market since 2019. The exterior and interior of the cars are practically the same, but the “local” truck has fewer chrome decorative elements in its exterior. The cargo platform dimensions are 1520 x 1520 x 470 mm, and the ground clearance of the ST6 is 197 mm.

    The list of standard equipment includes ABS+EBD, ESC, a seat belt reminder function, a pair of front airbags and a hill start assistant. The initial version received an on-board computer, air conditioning, heated front seats, cruise control, an audio system, electrically adjustable exterior mirrors and rear parking sensors.

    The Sollers ST6 package called Comfort also adds a keyless entry function with push-button engine start, leather-wrapped steering wheel and seats, six-speaker infotainment system with large touchscreen, and rearview camera.
