MOSCOW, December 25 Football club “Fenerbahce” on the page on the social network, X ridiculed Galatasaray’s complaint about the work of the referees in a head-to-head meeting in the 18th round of the Turkish Championship.
The intercontinental derby, held on Sunday in Istanbul at the Fenerbahce stadium, ended with a score of 0:0. After the match, Galatasaray posted a photo of team striker Mauro Icardi with a black eye on social network X.
“An attempt to cause discontent by showing a football player who hit the goal post. We leave this to the discretion of the public,” the message says.
Fenerbahçe is in first place in the national championship standings with 44 points, ahead of Galatasaray in additional indicators.
