“The criminal investigation has been completed against Sergei Piskarev, Vladislav Alexandrov, Ivan Zyryanov, Anastasia Chertkova and Evgeniy Golyatin. Depending on the role of each, they are accused of discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and volunteer formations, intentionally causing minor harm to health, complicity in these crimes, and also intentional damage to property… The investigation has collected a sufficient evidence base, and therefore the criminal case has been transferred to the court,” the message says.
According to the department, on the night of August 5, 2023, on the central square in the village of Nerchinsky Zavod, Trans-Baikal Territory, Zyryanov and Piskarev publicly spoke negatively about two commissioned participants in a special military operation. The victims, wanting to avoid conflict, left the square for a neighboring village. However, the defendants, with the complicity of Chertkova, began to pursue them in two cars. Having caught up with the victims, the accused blocked the road, and then rammed the car of the SVO participants several times, and also broke the windows and pierced the tires with a knife. In addition, “the defendants beat one of the victims and tore off the awards for participation in the SVO from his chest.” At the same time, Golyatin forcibly restrained the second man, who wanted to help his friend and protect him during the beating.
