Avito Auto experts analyzed the relationship between supply and demand for used cars in 2023. According to the results of the study, by the end of 2023, the number of advertisements for the sale of used cars on Avito Auto increased by 6% compared to the beginning of the year (January-February).
The average price of a used car in November-December 2023 was 1,198,975 rubles.
From VAZ (LADA) to Toyota: the most popular brands of used cars on the platform at the end of 2023
According to Avito Auto, VAZ (LADA) became the leader in terms of share in the supply structure of used cars on the platform in November-December 2023 . The brand accounted for 19.8% of the total supply of used cars, the average cost of a used car from a domestic manufacturer was 350,000 rubles.
The Toyota brand accounted for 7.4% of the supply of used cars, their average the price was 1,650,000 rubles.
Toyota Camry '2011–2014
The share of Koreans Kia and Hyundai accounted for 6.6% and 6.1% in the supply structure used cars, respectively. The average price of a used Kia car was 1,680,000 rubles, Hyundai – 1,530,000 rubles.
In November-December 2023, a used Volkswagen brand car could be purchased on average for 1,300,000 rubles. The brand's share accounted for 4.7% of the total supply of used cars.

The most offered used car model on Avito Auto in November-December 2023 was the VAZ (LADA) Granta model. Cars of this model accounted for 2.5% of the total supply of used cars on the platform. The share of VAZ (LADA) Priora and Hyundai Solaris cars accounted for 2.4% and 1.9% of the total supply of used cars, respectively.
Ford Focus in November-December 2023 took 1.8% in the structure of supply of used cars on Avito Auto. The VAZ (LADA) 2114 Samara closes the top five, its share of the total supply is 1.7%.
