MOSCOW, December 30 Former coach of the Russian national football team and CSKA Leonid Slutsky, answering a question about the possible transfer of Lokomotiv Moscow forward Artem Dzyub to the Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua, said that the forward is no longer young.
On Wednesday, Shanghai Shenhua announced the appointment of Slutsky as the team's head coach. The Russian’s last place of work was Rubin Kazan, which he left in November 2022. Under the leadership of the coach, the Kazan team was relegated from the Russian Premier League (RPL) at the end of the 2021/22 season.

Slutsky is 52 years old, in the RPL he coached “Moscow”, Samara “Krylya Sovetov”, CSKA and “Rubin”. From 2015 to 2016, he served as head coach of the Russian national team. With him, the national team played 13 matches, in which they won six victories, suffered five defeats and drew twice.
The contract of 35-year-old Dzyuba with Lokomotiv runs until the summer of 2024.
