The police were unable to respond to the call in a timely manner
In Chelyabinsk, a high-profile case continues to develop related to the cheeky behavior of migrants on New Year's Eve, who insulted, threatened and attacked SVO soldiers. The day before, the aggressive thugs were detained at their place of residence with the help of special forces. Obviously, they refused to let the security forces home voluntarily, so the officers had to open the door to the apartment where the attackers were. “Moskovsky Komsomolets” talked with a colleague and fellow countryman of one of the fighters who participated in the conflict and learned the details of this incident.
According to media reports, on New Year's Eve another incident involving visitors occurred in Chelyabinsk. In the courtyard of an apartment building, in one of the city districts, young migrants, one of whom was armed with a bat, attacked SVO members and their wives. The attack was accompanied by insults and selective obscenities. In response, the SVO fighters who went through the Ukrainian conflict reacted calmly and adequately, not allowing the aggressors to make them emotional, but they still had to defend themselves. Then the thugs used pepper spray.
Having let off steam, they calmly left the scene, but they were unable to escape responsibility. Now the young aggressors have been detained. A criminal case has been opened for the commission of a crime under Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code (“Hooliganism”)
A well-known activist from Chelyabinsk, a special forces soldier “Akhmat”, told MK about how to act in such a situation. Alexander Volozhanin with the call sign “Yakuza”
“Our military reacted as needed,” Volozhanin believes, “they did not show cruelty to the aggressors, they called the police and waited for them to arrive. The police were unable to arrive. I understand that they are busy, there are not enough crews. The criminals were eventually detained later. Honestly, you need strong nerves to restrain yourself like this in a situation where they beat you and curse your wife in front of you. I can only praise these fighters who took part in the fighting and went through hell on earth. I know one of these guys personally. His name is Alexander, call sign “Tyazh”. We were together during the assault on the city of Severodonetsk, where I was wounded in May 2022.
When this situation occurred, Alexander contacted me and asked me to talk about this problem. Then I recorded a video in which I asked the competent authorities to figure out why the police did not arrive on time to help. As a result, a trial took place.”
—I had such a psychological technique. I ran the “Sober Yards” project in Chelyabinsk, and drunk people constantly got into fights with me. When I saw these people, I thought: “The dog barks and attacks. Look at her, restrain yourself, but don’t give an answer.” It helped me keep my cool and be in a calm state of mind. During the entire time I was leading the Sober Yards project, I only had two fights, and then at the very beginning of the project. Over time, I developed the understanding that it is impossible to fight with these people at all – they are simply sick and they need help. I still have this position that people need to sympathize.
