MOSCOW, December 31 Russian theater and film actor Maximilian Potemkin died at the age of 49, the Verba theater studio reported on VKontakte.
«Unfortunately «, the New Year holidays were overshadowed by a sad event for our team. The founder of our theater, a wonderful actor, poet, teacher, and our good friend Maximilian Potemkin, passed away. Our condolences to all loved ones,» the obituary says.
The cause of the artist’s death is not is revealed.
Potemkin was born on June 1, 1974 in Leningrad, he began his career in St. Petersburg as a ballet dancer at the Music Hall Theater, and in 2009 he founded the Verba theater studio. The actor’s filmography includes ten works, including the TV series “The Fifth Watch”, “Moscow. Three Stations”, “Son of the Raven”, “Witnesses”, as well as the documentary “Russian Wives of Great People”.
