Otkritie Bank (part of the VTB Group) held the third and final stage of the drawing for the “24% in 2024” promotion among Otkritie Bank depositors. More than 150 thousand bank depositors received various bonuses for the entire term of the deposit, from 0.1 percentage points to a maximum rate of 24% per annum.
The third stage of the drawing took place on January 11, 2024. Its participants were clients who opened from November 20 to December 31, 2023 one of three deposits of Otkritie Bank — “First”, “Good” or “Reliable” — for any period in the amount of up to 3 million rubles. with interest received monthly or at the end of the deposit period. 13,333 clients became holders of the increased rate for the entire deposit validity period. The average winning deposit amount at the third stage was 689 thousand rubles. 37% of the winners made a deposit for 3 months, 48% for 6 months, 15% for 11 or 12 months.
As a result of the “24% in 2024” promotion, the yield for 24 clients—the main winners—was increased to 24% per annum. Another 240 depositors received an increase of 6 percentage points, 2.4 thousand — 1 percentage point, 24 thousand — 0.5 percentage points. For other clients, the rate increase was 0.1 percentage points.
Additional income for Otkritie Bank depositors will total more than 90 million rubles. The most active participants in the campaign were Otkrytie clients from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Ulyanovsk and Perm. The winners were determined using a random number generator.
