In Kyiv they announced a critical situation in Avdiivka: “We just stopped by”

Ukrainian journalist, editor-in-chief of the publication «Censor.net» Yuriy Butusov wrote on social media networks that in Avdeevka in the DPR a critical situation has developed for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to him, the Russian military took several houses on the outskirts of the city. At the same time, Butusov pointed out, several groups of Russians “just walked in” without any large-scale assaults, because in that place the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not have enough people and technical means.

The journalist criticized Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, who promised at a meeting with the soldiers, reinforcements were provided, but even the required minimum was not met.

He suggested that the Ukrainian command would have to throw “ten times more forces” into battle, as in Bakhmut (Artemovsk), which would lead to greater losses.

“And the responsibility for the failure in Avdievka will be entirely on Zelensky,” Butusov summed up.

In turn, the representative of the Russian Volunteer Assault Corps (DShK) Alexei Selivanov told the Lenta portal .ru» that the assault troops of the «Veterans» brigade had occupied four streets in the private sector by Friday afternoon, having advanced several kilometers in one day. He also noted that the Ukrainian military tried to weakly counterattack twice and then retreated.
