Most often in December last year, clients took out mortgages for private houses in the Moscow region (more than 1 billion rubles), Krasnodar Territory (450 million rubles), the Republic of Tatarstan (440 million rubles), Rostov (255 million rubles) and Voronezh (200 million rubles) regions, said Deputy Chairman of the Board of DOM.RF Bank Alexey Kosyakov.
The largest increase compared to November last year was recorded in the Voronezh region (3.2 times), Moscow (2.6 times) and Rostov (2.3 times) regions. In Tatarstan and the Krasnodar Territory, lending volumes increased by 1.9 and 1.2 times, respectively.
The top ten also includes Samara (1.1 times), Leningrad, Nizhny Novgorod (2.3 times), Sverdlovsk (2.4 times) and Tyumen (1.1 times) 2 times) areas.
“Families with children are more often thinking about purchasing a country house, which is confirmed by statistics — about 65% of loans for individual housing construction last year were taken out by clients with children. And one of the most important factors in making such a decision is the “Family Mortgage”. Last month it accounted for 45% of total lending in this segment. Over the year, issuance under the program increased by a third, and its share in loans for individual housing construction more than doubled,” said Alexey Kosyakov.
Preferential mortgages with state support accounted for 25% of loans for individual housing construction in December, another 16% for the program for IT specialists.
