Brutal all-wheel drive Jetour T2 for the Russian Federation: new details

This model of the Chinese brand takes 8.7 seconds to accelerate from zero to “hundreds”, and its maximum speed is 180 km /h.

Last week the Jetour brand announced the appearance of a new product on the Russian market: we are talking about the T2 mid-size all-wheel drive crossover — the first-born of the new “brutal” T series. In the home market, the model is sold under the name Traveler. It is known that local Jetour dealers have already begun accepting pre-orders for this SUV, while its full sales will begin in March of this year.

The overall length of this crossover is 4785 mm, width – 2006 mm, and height – 1880 mm, and the distance between the axles is 2800 mm. The front overhang length is 892 mm, the rear overhang is 1093 mm, and the minimum ground clearance is 220 mm. The Jetour T2 has an approach and departure angle of 28 degrees, and it is also known that such an SUV is capable of fording a ford up to 700 mm deep. The track width at the front is 1685 mm, at the rear – 1695 mm.

On the Russian market, the T2 crossover will be offered in four color options: black Night Black, matte gray Highway Gray, silver Silver Snow and brown Sand. Models are available with either 19- or 20-inch wheel sizes. And for the interior, three color schemes have been prepared — either black trim with red elements, or green with orange decor, or a brown option.

The cabin is designed for five riders, its width is 1451 mm. As reported today at the local Jetour office, legroom in the second row of seats reaches 960 mm. The seat height to the ceiling is 1050 mm in the front and 1044 mm in the rear. With the second row seats folded down, the luggage compartment volume is 1494 liters. The fuel tank capacity is 70 liters.

The Jetour T2 is equipped with a 2.0-liter TGDI petrol in-line turbo-four, its output is 245 hp and the maximum torque is 375 Nm. Compression ratio – 10.2:1. It has now become known that it will be paired with a seven-speed DCT dual-clutch automatic transmission. This crossover takes 8.7 seconds to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h, and its top speed is 180 km/h. The company calculated that fuel consumption in the combined cycle is 9.3 liters per 100 km.

< p>The “brutal” SUV received the sixth generation XWD all-wheel drive system from BorgWarner with intelligent torque control and an eLSD. At the front, the Jetour T2 has an independent McPherson-type suspension with telescopic shock absorbers and anti-roll bar, and at the rear there is a multi-link. 1/3 2/3 3/3

As Kolesa.ru reported earlier, the interior of the new product is decorated in the same brutal “squared” style as the exterior. The front panel integrates a 10.25-inch diagonal virtual instrument panel and a 15.6-inch infotainment system tablet. Multimedia has a voice control function and supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone interfaces.

The recommended retail price of Jetour T2 will be known later, closer to the start of live sales.
