MOSCOW, January 23 The Lefortovo Court of Moscow extended the arrest of Perm photographer and musician Grigory Skvortsov, accused of treason.
““The court granted the investigation’s request to extend Skvortsov’s preventive measure in the form of detention,” the court said.
According to the court, he was charged under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (treason), the sanction of which provides for up to life imprisonment.
The plot of the case is not disclosed, since the case is marked “secret”. A source in law enforcement agencies did not refute media publications according to which Skvortsov is a Perm photographer, a specialist in industrial photography, but refrained from making any comments.
