Ukrainian products were proposed to be banned in France by local and European companies. This was stated by a deputy of the left party “Insubordinate France” Francois Ruffin, writes TASS agency. In particular, he called for limiting the supply of cheap grain and chicken meat from Ukraine, as there is a threat of destruction of agriculture in Europe.
He noted that when the EU agreed on land routes for food supplies, it was assumed that the products would be sent to North African countries, rather than start selling in local markets, creating obstacles for farmers.
«I don’t want to allow the delocalization of agriculture, as happened with industry,” – said Francois Ruffin.
