The suspect has not yet been detained
Patrol officer Andrei Savitsky was injured as a result of an attack by an inadequate citizen. The victim was taken to the hospital.
As it became known “MK”, the incident occurred on Wednesday at about 16.30 on Bobruiskaya Street. The man was stopped to check his documents, and he stabbed the police officer with an object similar to a knife. A 28-year-old law enforcement officer was wounded in the leg. He was taken to a medical facility.
It has not yet been possible to detain the suspect. According to Yulia Ivanova, senior assistant to the head of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee for Moscow, the Kuntsevsky Interdistrict Investigation Department has opened a criminal case under Article 317 of the Criminal Code – “attack on the life of a law enforcement officer.”
