The Forthing M7 van for Russia was announced in September last year, then it was reported that the cars would reach dealers by the end of autumn. However, the price has only just been announced. Let us remind you that the Forthing brand (aka Fengxing in China) belongs to the Dongfeng concern; it began full-scale development of the Russian market in 2023, launching the T5 Evo crossover and the Yacht minivan. Moreover, our brand is represented not by the local division of Dongfeng, or even by the new distributor Motorinvest, but by the importer Iksen Motors Rus.

In its dimensions, the rear-wheel drive Forthing M7 is comparable to the stretched versions of the Peugeot Traveler/Citroen SpaceTourer/Opel Zafira Life . The length of the “Chinese” is 5170 mm, width – 1920 mm, height – 1930 mm, wheelbase – 3198 mm. At the same time, the M7 only comes with seven seats, the seats are arranged according to the 2+2+3 pattern.
In Russia, the van is available with a 2.0 petrol turbo-four with a power of 224 hp. (385 Nm), which is combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission from ZF. The motor can be “powered” by AI-92.
Judging by the importer's website, the Forthing M7 is now offered in a single configuration. The list of equipment includes: heated and electrically adjustable mirrors, leather upholstery, two sunroofs, a multimedia system with an 11.8-inch diagonal touchscreen, heated seats in the first and second rows (the second row seats also have footrests), front and side airbags, ESP, keyless entry system and engine start button, rear view camera, parking assistant, cruise control, lane marking and blind spot monitoring systems. The body can be white or black. Recommended price of Forthing M7 – 5,500,000 rubles.
