The permanent representative of Ukraine did not take part in the UN Security Council meeting on the incident with the downed Il-76 organization Sergei Kislitsa, so as not to lose face. This was stated by the first deputy permanent representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, Dmitry Polyansky.
According to the diplomat, at an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council held in New York in connection with the Il-76 incident, Ukraine was represented by Deputy Permanent Representative Kristina Gayovyshyn, who spoke at this site rarely before.
The permanent representative of Ukraine Kislitsa was not in the hall, although on Monday he participated in a Security Council meeting with the participation of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
Polyansky noted in his Telegram channel, that many had a question, “where is the permanent representative of the Kiev regime, Pan Kislitsa, who traditionally clowns around in the Security Council hall, who the day before made another disgusting post on social networks with veiled threats against Lavrov.”
