Eight- and six-seat versions of the model, called L380, will be equipped with a fully electric “filling”. “Electric vans” will appear in 2026.
The name of the British company LEVC stands for London Electric Vehicle Company. The Geely holding founded it in 2013, and initially it was the London Taxi Company. LEVC is currently producing plug-in hybrid taxis TX, as well as VN5 vans based on them. The bulk of car sales are in the UK, but left-hand drive versions are produced for continental Europe and some Asian countries.

As Kolesa.ru reported earlier, at the beginning of last year Geely decided to make LEVC a global commercial brand. As part of this project, a modular SOA platform was presented in May, developed specifically for this brand (other brands belonging to the Chinese holding will not receive it). It borrowed some elements from the SEA “trolley”, known, in particular, from the Polestar and Zeekr models. The main advantages of the SOA platform are the low floor and torsional rigidity of the body at the level of sports cars (41,000 Nm/degree).

The new “trolley” formed the basis of the LEVC Xspace minibus, which was declassified in December last year. According to the Chinese Ministry of Industry, the length of the model is 5316 mm, width – 1998 mm, height – 1940 mm, and the distance between the axles is 3185 mm. This means that in terms of dimensions the new minibus is close to the “Korean” Hyundai Staria and the Li Mega van previously presented in China.
Now the company has officially confirmed that the minibus will be presented on the British market. It was named L380, as the company explained, in honor of the Airbus A380 airliner. The curb weight of the MPV is 2805 kg, the total weight is 3425 kg. The cabin is designed for eight passengers, with seats arranged two in four rows. The row furthest from the driver can be folded, and the third row can be adjusted to increase legroom for passengers.

It is also known that the LEVC L380 will also be offered in a luxury version with a six-seat interior layout. It is expected that such a new product will have a rich list of equipment and options responsible for passenger comfort. It will probably be able to compete with the Lexus LM for buyers (the premiere of the model intended for the European market took place in May last year).
Official information about the all-electric “filling” of the LEVC L380 will appear later. According to preliminary data, the new product may be offered a pair of traction batteries to choose from — with a capacity of 73 or 120 kWh. In the second case, the maximum range on a single charge is likely to be around 695 km. It is possible that the minibus will have versions with both a single electric motor located on the front axle and a dual-engine power plant. Note that for China, only one front-wheel drive version with a 272-horsepower electric motor has been announced so far.

The minibus for the Celestial market will be presented this year, then it will appear in other countries. The new product will reach dealers in the UK in 2026. Now the manufacturer has published a photo of the first prototype of the LEVC L380, which was released at the plant located in Yiwu (Zhejiang Province, China).
