MOSCOW, January 29The visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Mosfilm film studio to assess the results of the construction of new pavilions depends on the schedule of the head of state, but he is expected, said Karen Shakhnazarov, general director of the Mosfilm film concern, in an interview.
Earlier in July, after a state awards ceremony where he was awarded the Russian State Prize for outstanding achievements in the field of humanitarian work for 2022, Shakhnazarov told reporters that he had invited Putin to visit the newly built pavilions.

The cinema and concert complex and the new filming pavilion No. 17 of the Mosfilm concern were commissioned in 2022. New Mosfilm facilities were built as part of the second phase of large-scale construction. In 2019, the 16th film pavilion and the House of Costumes and Props, a modern storage facility (15 thousand square meters) where the film studio’s funds are located, were built and put into operation at Mosfilm. As noted in the press service of the film concern, such large-scale construction has not been carried out at Mosfilm and in the domestic film industry since the 1950s.
