The volume of loans issued by mortgage lending centers (MCCs) amounted to more than 160 billion rubles, increasing by one and a half times compared to last year. This is 63% of transactions concluded last year, said Vice President of DOM.RF Bank Kirill Varentsov.
Moscow is among the leaders in terms of lending volumes (43 billion rubles, growth by 2022 by 1.6 times), Moscow Region (RUB 14.3 billion, by 1.3 times), Krasnodar Territory (RUB 14 billion, by 1.7 times), St. Petersburg (RUB 10.8 billion, by 1.6 times) and the Tyumen region (7 billion rubles, 1.3 times).
The top 10 also includes the Sverdlovsk region (6.6 billion rubles, 1.3 times) 1.1 times), the Republic of Tatarstan (6.5 billion rubles, 1.4 times), Samara (6.3 billion rubles, 2.1 times) and Nizhny Novgorod (6 billion rubles, 2 times) region, Primorsky Krai (6 billion rubles, 1.8 times).
“Thanks to the work of regional centers, housing conditions have improved for about 30 thousand families — this is more than in the previous year , by 30%. In addition, electronic and on-site formats are gaining momentum — with the help of digital CECs and mobile bankers who arrive at a time and place convenient for the client in 1,500 settlements,” noted Kirill Varentsov.
The leaders in issuing mortgages under government support programs are “Family Mortgage” (37% of issuances in 2023) and “Preferential for new buildings” (32%). Transactions under the program for IT specialists amounted to 17%. Another 8% — under the standard program for the purchase of finished housing, 3% — for new buildings, 2.5% — under the Far Eastern Mortgage.
