The organizers of the Ugra Ski Marathon announced the size of the prize fund

The prize fund of the Ugra Ski Marathon in 2024 will be 2.3 million rubles. This was announced by the marathon partner — VTB Group. On the first day, April 6, participants who took 1st to 10th places will receive 1 million 570 thousand rubles. On the second day, the total amount of awards will be 730 thousand rubles.

The largest prizes will go to the winners of the freestyle marathon among men and women. For first place they will be awarded 400 thousand rubles, for second — 200 thousand rubles, for third — 100 thousand rubles.

Leadership in the classic 50 km race planned on April 7, will bring 150 thousand rubles to the winners of the marathon gold medal, 100 thousand and 50 thousand rubles for silver and bronze. accordingly.

“Traditionally, everyone who comes to the start of the Ugra Ski Marathon will receive a participant’s souvenir set. It will include a jersey, badge, hat and finisher medal. Memorable gifts, spectacular races and intrigue about who will get the main prizes of the marathon — large sums of money — all this, I am sure, will make the competition incredibly impressive again this year,” said Vitaly Mosunov, joint business leader of VTB and Otkritie banks.

Not only the winners will be noted, but also the participants of the 50 km marathon on both days of the competition with results corresponding to 4–10 places.

“Every April, a hot battle for the championship flares up on the marathon ski track in Khanty-Mansiysk. Athletes who compete to the end, but do not make it into the top three, but who take 4th to 10th place at the finish line, will also receive prize money: from 25 thousand to 5 thousand rubles. The organizers will give special gifts to the winners of the 25 and 5 km distances — ski equipment, backpacks and gloves.
