Heung-min Son suffered a dislocated finger following an argument that erupted within South Korea ahead of their shock Asian Cup exit.
Son was injured during a dinner argument before his team's semi-final defeat countries from Jordan with a score of 2:0.
The row broke out after some of the younger squad members quickly ate to play ping pong.

He wrote on Instagram: “It was reported that I had an argument with Son before the Asian Cup semi-finals. I caused great disappointment to all those football fans who support the national team. I'm really sorry. I should have listened to the older players and I apologize for not being good.
“I apologize to the many people who were disappointed in me. I am very aware of how interested the fans are in me as a player. From now on, I will try to support the senior players and become a better player and person.»
