Later, the “charged” sedan and crossover should return to the lineup, but their “filling” will already be completely electric.
Alfa Romeo began selling the four-door Giulia in 2016, and a year later the Stelvio platform crossover entered the market. The models underwent modernization in 2020, and another update followed in the fall of 2022. The “charged” versions were updated later, in April 2023, and in October it became known about the appearance of a limited edition “carbon” sedan and crossover with the addition of Quadrifoglio to the name.

Now it has become known that the Italian brand is preparing to say goodbye to the “hot” versions of the Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio. According to the head of the North American division of the company, Larry Dominick, production of “charged” models at the Stellantis plant, located in Cassino (Italy) for the USA and Canada, will be completed in June of this year. It is worth noting that from the message from a company representative it is not entirely clear whether the production of “hot” versions as a whole will be completed in the summer, or whether we are talking about stopping the supply of cars to the North American market.
Larry Dominic added that fans of models in the USA and Canada who want to make a purchase should place an order for the car in the near future: accepting applications will be completed in April of this year. He noted that “this is the last chance to purchase a Quadrifoglio equipped with an internal combustion engine” as the company continues its “greening” process.

The head of the North American division of Alfa Romeo explained that “this is not the end of the story” for the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio, but the models that will subsequently return to the brand’s lineup will be equipped with fully electric technology. There are no official details about their “filling” yet; according to rumors, the output of the power plant could be about 1000 hp. It is assumed that the “green” hot “Italians” with the four-leaf clover emblem may appear in 2026.
Let us remind you that the current “charged” sedan and crossover are equipped with a 2.9-liter V6 biturbo engine, while in the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio versions for the States its power is 512 hp. (in European specification — 510 hp), and the maximum torque is 600 Nm. This engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission from ZF. A four-door can only have rear-wheel drive, while an SUV can only have all-wheel drive.
In the States, the cost Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio starts at $81,870, which is equivalent to approximately 7.57 million rubles at the current exchange rate. For the Stelvio Quadrifoglio on the American market today they are asking for at least $87,870 (about 8.13 million rubles).
Meanwhile, the Italian brand continues to prepare for the imminent debut of the new subcompact crossover Alfa Romeo Milano . The premiere will take place in Milan on April 10 this year. Previously, the company published pictures of a camouflaged prototype, and a little later, the designer Kolesa.ru presented his version of the potential appearance of the future new product.
