Source: The Ukrainian Armed Forces shelled the Kherson region almost 40 times in one day

GENICHESK, February 18 During the day, Ukrainian troops carried out 39 cannon artillery strikes on populated areas on the left bank of the Kherson region, a source familiar with the situation told reporters.
«Militants of the criminal Kiev regime continue terrorist attacks on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region. Yesterday, during daylight hours, the Ukrainian army carried out 17 strikes from cannon artillery on populated areas of the region. With the onset of darkness, the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out another 22 shelling of the region,» reported source.
Nine settlements were under fire: Aleshki, New Camps, Obryvka, Podlesnoye, Velikaya Lepetikha, Proletarka, Sagi, Dnepryany, Golaya Pristan.

Infrastructure destruction and civilian casualties are being clarified.

On Saturday, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian units destroyed up to 40 Ukrainian military personnel in the Kherson direction within 24 hours.
