On Tuesday, the main directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for Dagestan reported that as of 11.10 Moscow time, more than 70 thousand people in 196 settlements in four districts of the republic were left without electricity in the region.
«By 15.55 Moscow time, Dagestan power engineers restored the supply of electricity to consumers living in the Shamil, Tlyaratinsky, Tsuntinsky districts, as well as the Bezhtinsky section of the republic, whose power supply was temporarily interrupted as a result of a technological violation at the power facility,» the message says.
The outages occurred due to a wire break on the 110 kV overhead power line «Khunzakh — Shamilskoe». Two Dagenergo teams were involved in the restoration work: seven specialists and two units of special equipment.
