MOSCOW, February 17 The wife of actor Alexander Pankratov-Cherny, Yulia Monakhova, denied the information that the artist’s lung problems had worsened due to a rib fracture.
Earlier, Monakhova reported that Pankratov-Cherny slipped, injured a rib and was being treated at home. Later, she denied the information that he allegedly had a heart attack and was diagnosed with atherosclerosis of the aorta.
““These are enemy voices. Nothing like that,” said Monakhova. The artist’s wife also clarified that Pankratov-Cherny is now preparing for a tour.
Alexander Pankratov-Cherny — People's Artist of the Russian Federation and South Ossetia. His roles in Karen Shakhnazarov’s films “We are from Jazz” and “Winter Evening in Gagra” brought him widespread fame. He also starred in the films “Where is Nophelet?”, “Forgotten Melody for the Flute”, “For Beautiful Ladies!”, “Promised Heaven”, “Shirley-Myrli”, the TV series “The Master and Margarita” and many others.
