The investigation petitioned for the arrest of Russian Martynov for treason

MOSCOW, February 21 The Meshchansky Court of Moscow received a petition from investigators to arrest a Russian man named Martynov on charges of high treason, the court reported.
“The court received a petition from the investigation to select a preventive measure for Martynov N.O. in the form of detention,” said the agency’s interlocutor. The court hearing will take place today, the court added.
Under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the man faces from 12 to 20 years in prison. The details of the case were not disclosed in court due to secrecy.
