MOSCOW, February 22 Last year, a Moscow manufacturer of ready-made meals and desserts began supplies to two large Russian retailers, about 30 tons of products were shipped — that’s about 170 thousand units of products, said the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the investment department and industrial policy (DIPP) Vladislav Ovchinsky.
In 2022, the enterprise was awarded the status of an industrial complex, thanks to which it is possible to increase production and supply volumes.
«»The status of an industrial complex has now been assigned to 70 capital industrial enterprises. This support measure provides significant tax benefits, which allows you to save money and direct it into development, increasing the range of products and expanding sales markets. Thanks to the status, 24 food industry producers receive benefits. Among them a company specializing in the production of ready-made meals and desserts,” said Ovchinsky, as quoted by the press service of the DIPP.
He added that this company invests the proceeds in increasing production volumes, so that it can supply products to a larger number of customers. In 2023, the company entered into contracts with 2 leading retailers in the country and has already shipped about 170 thousand units of products to them.
It is noted that the Tverd company has been producing ready-made meals and shelf-stable food products for over ten years, including frozen cakes, pasta, pastries, pies, and biscuits. The company's production workshops are equipped with modern equipment, including automated ventilation systems, secure storage warehouses and blast freezing chambers.
In turn, the company’s general director, Alexander Rogov, said that last year the company supplied more than 30 tons of products to new customers. In 2023, the companies confirmed their status as an industrial complex. This allowed the enterprise to receive support from the capital authorities.
The DIPP recalled that the active development and achievement of such indicators of Moscow companies is facilitated by the active work of the city authorities to support industrial enterprises, as well as the implementation of a policy towards import substitution, growth in domestic demand, and the development of new product niches and sales markets.
In addition, on behalf of the capital’s mayor, Moscow is implementing a set of measures aimed at increasing the city’s investment attractiveness for domestic industrialists and developing production. Thus, in 2016, Sergei Sobyanin signed a decree according to which Moscow manufacturers began to be given the status of an industrial complex.
Earlier, Ovchinsky reported that the resident company of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ over the past year increased by 30% the production of interactive panels that can replace school or office boards.
