VORONEZH, February 24 Five villages in the border Korenevsky district of the Kursk region were left without electricity after shelling from Ukraine, Governor Roman Starovoyt reported in his Telegram channel.
The border Korenevsky district of the Kursk region was shelled from Ukraine on Saturday morning.
«After the shelling from Ukraine, several settlements in the border Korenevsky district were left without power supply: Vzapnoye, Gordeevka, Viktorovka, Troitskoye and Uspenovka. Repair crews will begin restoration work as soon as it is safe to do so,” Starovoit said.
Korenevsky district is one of the six border districts of the Kursk region, and is regularly subjected to shelling from Ukraine.
