Lada Vesta debuted in 2015, first a sedan entered the market, and in 2017 it was joined by a station wagon. These Wests had versions with 106- and 113-horsepower 1.6-liter engines, as well as a 122-horsepower 1.8-liter version. The list of gearboxes included a five-speed manual, robot and CVT. In February 2022, the restyled Lada Vesta family debuted, then a batch of serial updated sedans and station wagons was produced at the plant in Izhevsk (details about the car are in our test drive). In the spring of the same year, the production of cars had to be stopped due to a shortage of components.

Serial production here was launched in the spring of 2023, and sales of updated sedans and station wagons began last summer. At the same time, initially the refreshed Lada Vesta entered the market with a base 90-horsepower 1.6-liter engine, later a sixteen-valve engine of the same volume with a capacity of 106 liters returned to the range.
