
ST. PETERSBURG, March 2 Dismantling of damaged balconies and glazing began in a house on Piskarevsky Avenue in St. Petersburg, damaged during the emergency, the correspondent reports.
Currently, workers are removing damaged parts of the balconies of house No. 161 on Piskarevsky Prospekt. Industrial climbers also work on the façade of the house. Structures and debris are removed from the site.
According to the observations of the agency's correspondent, 11 balconies were significantly damaged, one of them was twisted. A window on the second floor was broken and soot was visible on the outer wall. Outside, workers can be seen cleaning up some of the damaged apartments.
As the correspondent reported, residents of one of the affected houses on Piskarevsky Prospekt, 159 building 2 began to be allowed into their apartments. The windows of the apartments and balconies in this building were partially broken. Residents of house No. 161 on Piskarevsky Avenue, which is the most damaged, cannot yet return home.
Earlier, the city governor Alexander Beglov reported that the emergency occurred in houses in the Krasnogvardeisky district of St. Petersburg, the glazing of the balconies of two houses was partially damaged.
