The Chairman of the Board of Novikombank received the “Headliner of ESG Principles” award

Chairman of the Board of Novikombank Elena Georgieva won the “Headliners of ESG Principles” award in the category “Headliner in the implementation of internal and external social programs for interaction with society (S).” The head of the core bank of the Rostec State Corporation was recognized for the implementation of best practices in the field of sustainable development.

Elena Georgieva’s award is the result of responsible business conduct and social policy pursued by Novikombank. It is based on the principles of caring for society, clients and bank employees.

In 2023, Novikombank implemented charitable programs in the field of medicine and support of new territories. Together with its shareholder, the bank has developed a number of projects in the field of education and scientific and technical activities of young people. Novikombank’s course on financial literacy is increasingly in demand among a wide audience. Last year, the number of new participants in educational events amounted to more than 15 thousand people. In addition, the second part of video lectures on financial literacy was released on the Rostec Academy platform.

Novikombank is constantly improving its flagship products. Thus, in 2023, holders of a social payment card for a Rostec employee will have access to the “Bonus Piggy Bank” privilege service. A unique tool for encouraging honored employees of industrial enterprises and promising young specialists through additional banking preferences is the “Development” motivation program, which has already been joined by 139 companies.

Currently, due to the growing need for qualified engineers, there is a need to support experienced specialists. This was noted by Russian President Vladimir Putin, who proposed establishing an annual “Mentor of the Year” award. In accordance with the task, Novikombank introduced an additional category of employees into the Development program — engineering and technical workers and mentors.
