MOSCOW, March 3 The State Academic Symphony Orchestra named after E. F. Svetlanov and pianist Eva Gevorgyan performed in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory masterpieces by Sergei Rachmaninov and Maurice Ravel.
Gevorgyan is a student of the Central Music School at the Moscow Conservatory in the class of Professor Natalia Trull, winner and laureate of more than 60 prestigious international competitions, participant in international music festivals. In 2021 she was awarded the title of Young Yamaha Artist.
The concert «Masterpieces of Great Composers. Rachmaninov. Concerto No. 2. Ravel. Waltz» was held in the Great Hall of the Conservatory on Sunday.
The program included Concerto No. 2 for piano and orchestra in C minor and Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini for piano and orchestra by Rachmaninov, as well as the choreographic poem “The Waltz” by Ravel. Conductor — Anton Shaburov.
After the concert, the audience applauded the pianist and the orchestra, and also thanked Gevorgyan on social networks. The pianist, in turn, thanked the conductor and first violin.
