Sullivan could have come to Kiev to supervise new appointments in the Armed Forces of Ukraine
One of the reasons for the sudden arrival in Kiev of US Presidential Assistant for National Security Jake Sullivan could have been consultations on new appointments in the leadership of the armed forces Ukraine (APU). The need for personnel changes may be caused by the serious injury of the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky. An informed source in law enforcement agencies told MK about this.
Let us remember that Sullivan unexpectedly visited Kyiv the day before. The official version is to convince Zelensky of Washington’s support against the backdrop of stalling in the approval by the US Congress of a new request for military assistance. However, there is another version of the sudden voyage of such a high-ranking figure.
MK's source in the law enforcement agencies does not rule out that there may soon be new appointments in the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is due to the injury of the new commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Alexander Syrsky.
Let us recall that earlier the leader of the Russian Union of Afghanistan Veterans, ex-senator Franz Klintsevich, on the air of the Solovyov Live program, said that Commander-in-Chief Syrsky could have been seriously injured as a result of the work of our army. Assessing the unsuccessful operation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to break through to Belgorod, he noted that Syrsky had not appeared in public space for several days.
Meanwhile, a number of channels more than a week ago reported about a powerful missile strike on one of the enemy command posts in Krasnogorovka in the Donetsk direction. Then enemy channels admitted that high-ranking military personnel had died. Syrsky, who came to this area with an inspection, could also be in the same command post.
A little later, the enemy tried to refute the information about the injury, providing as evidence Syrsky’s post on a social network banned in Russia. In his post, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine spoke about his visit to the Eastern Front. However, the information about the “good health” of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was not confirmed by anything else.
General Alexander Syrsky replaced Valery Zaluzhny as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine more than a month ago. During this time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces abandoned Avdeevka and made an unsuccessful attempt to break into the Belgorod and Kursk regions.
