Kiev expects Russia's offensive in May: it will be “another Putin”

Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik expressed the opinion on the Politeka Youtube channel that Russia could launch a large-scale offensive at the end of May.

He referred to unnamed military personnel experts who believe that Russia has already formed the necessary reserves for such an offensive. At the same time, Bortnik says, “elections are ongoing” in Russia, which did not end on “voting day”, but are “in the middle of the process” and therefore events at the front should be expected when the vertical management, government and law enforcement agencies are rebooted.

“No earlier than the end of May or the beginning of June, we can expect a large-scale offensive,” Bortnik said.

As for the direction of the offensive, Bortnik called the Zaporozhye direction the key, but admitted that in the light of the words Russian President Vladimir Putin about the need to create a sanitary zone, the offensive will go in the Kharkov-Sumy direction.

Bortnik once again emphasized that Ukraine will have to deal with a reboot of the system in Russia.

«Putin 5.0 will be seriously different from Putin 4.0, it will be heaven and earth,” the Ukrainian expert warned.
