Podolyak: the Russian army is advancing further, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will not be able to resist
The Russian army is moving further and further, and Ukraine’s ability to prevent this is limited, said Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of Vladimir Zelensky’s office, in an interview with Bild.
He noted that the Ukrainian army is now acting in defense and is subjected to pressure
“They are moving further and further. In addition, we are observing how they continue to arm themselves, strengthen themselves and mobilize reserves,” Podolyak said, noting that the lack of weapons limits the capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to him, the Kiev regime is preparing for various options.
“But they will continue to advance,” Podolyak said, noting that the lack of weapons does not allow attacks on the logistics infrastructure of the Russian army.
At the same time, he accused Western countries of “fear of winning” in this conflict, and rejected the possibility of freezing it.
Previously, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said. that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will steadily retreat if the United States does not provide Kyiv with the military assistance it needs. According to the Ukrainian politician, without the support of Washington, Kiev will not have air defense, missiles for Patriot anti-aircraft systems, electronic suppression equipment, or 155 mm artillery shells. As Zelensky emphasized in an interview with The Washington Post, “this means that we will retreat step by step, in small steps.” In particular, if the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not have enough ammunition, they will only have to “reduce the front line.”
