MOSCOW, April 7Experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have been informed about the explosion of a drone on the territory of the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP), and the agency's director general, Rafael Grossi, called on the parties to the conflict to refrain from actions that jeopardize the safety of the plant, according to the IAEA page on the social network X. < br />«IAEA experts were informed by representatives of Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant about the detonation of a drone at the facility. This detonation is consistent with IAEA observations,» the agency said in a statement.
“I call for refraining from actions that contradict the five principles of the IAEA and jeopardize nuclear safety,” the IAEA quotes Grossi as saying.
