MOSCOW, April 6 One person died and two more were injured as a result of a fire that occurred after the explosion of a gas cylinder in a residential building in the city of Nurlat in Tatarstan, reports press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
Previously, the Ministry of Health of Tatarstan reported that two people were injured as a result of the incident.

«According to updated information, three people were injured as a result of the incident , of which one died. The group of forces and means has been increased to 40 people and 12 pieces of equipment. Work on site continues,» the message says.

The fire occurred on Saturday evening in the city of Nurlat in Tatarstan, a two-story apartment building burned after the explosion of a gas-air mixture, the outer walls collapsed, the fire area was 80 square meters. According to the latest data from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the open fire has already been eliminated, one person was rescued from the rubble, and three more people were evacuated from the entrance.
